Threshold diary: Curiosity's edge
At the limits of the world, I met a woman, walking along the beach of exploration.
“Who are you?” I asked her.
She replied,
“I wander through the wilderness of wasted time.
Stumble over rocks of fragmented wisdom.
Hidden in plain sight, Accessible to everyone, invisible to most.
I build bridges to the transcendental underworld
and explore the obvious depths of the infinite void.
I discover structures of light, where others see muddy water.
I may only retrieve something if I know a way back to the surface. Otherwise, my idea will pass before reaching a clear sky.
All additions to the already apprehended have to be attachable. Otherwise, they will aimlessly float around
and only occasionally come closer for a clearer view.
I explore the endless library of accessible ideas.
I follow a uniting thread, weaving the world into one.
I’m a student of the structural design of patterns and how they break.
I observe shadows of ideas
and build simulated representations within the electrical circuits of the brain.
I grasp a concept.
I see the meaning behind our words and symbols.
The reality of what is.
My friends call me Clarity.”
